Here at Lucky Penny, we believe happiness is the best policy. We want you to love shopping with us as much as much as you love your purchase! If you shopped with us in-store, over the phone, or online, please review our Returns and Exchanges Policy below. Thank you!

Online Orders

If you ordered on luckypennykids.com, the following return policy applies:
• Full returns for refunds back to the original payment method are happily accepted when postmarked within 14 days of receipt of the order. 
• Returns will not be accepted after 14 days of receipt of the order. When your return is approved and the label is sent to you, please be sure to ship within the window. If your return is shipped after the window closes, you may not be refunded.
• Customers are responsible for paying for return shipping & original shipping can not be refunded.
• Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. All sale items are strictly final.

How to Make an Online Return

  1. Review our criteria above and make sure the items are eligible for a return.

  3. Select the order you'd like to return and follow the instructions to submit a return request.
  4. Your return request will be reviewed within 1 business day and you will receive an email notification to let you know if it has been approved or denied.
    If approved, you will receive a return label in your email. Affix this to the return shipment and pop in the mail! You will be refunded as soon as it is delivered back to the shop and inspected.
      Returning in store? Visit the shop at 502 Grand Central Ave in Lavallette and see a sales associate for help.
      Returning with your own label? If your return is approved but you'd rather use your own label, you can ignore the label emailed to you and send back via mail carrier of your choice to the below address.  Be sure to include your name and order number along with the return.

      If your return is denied, please see the email for the reason why and refer to our return policy above. If you think we made a mistake, don't hesitate to reach out to us via email with additional information and we will be happy to make it right! 

      In Store Purchases

      If you made your purchase at our location in Lavallette, NJ, the following policy applies:

      • Returns and exchanges are happily accepted within 14 days of the original purchase date when accompanied by the receipt for a full refund back to the original method of payment.

      • Returns or exchanges will not be accepted after 14 days of receipt of the order. 

       Returns or exchanges can not be accepted without the original receipt. Returns with a gift receipt will be for store credit only.

      • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. All sale items are strictly final.

      Important Notes for All Returns:

      • If applicable, all items must be returned to us in their original, unworn, unwashed, and smoke- free condition, with their original tags and accessories (including removable belts, straps, brooches, etc.). Shoes must be returned with their original shoebox. 
      • We inspect all returns/exchanges and reserve the right to deny or refuse a full refund based on the returned condition.
      • Items that do not match the criteria above are subject to denial, store credit, and a 20-50% restocking fee.
      • Please consider delivery confirmation/shipping insurance for your return/ exchange package as Lucky Penny is not responsible for lost return packages without tracking information. By purchasing from House of Lucky you accept these terms and conditions.
